6 Survival Kit on IBU

This is the survival kit that I have designed. This design is based on the concept of first aid kit.It has handle on the top,which is easy to be carried around when the disaster comes.



It looks like a human face.Human's face means life.This gives the feeling to people in IBU the hope of living during the tough time of disaster.


The handle can be turned to the other side of the kit to save space usage.



It can be opened up.Inside the kit, the invention of Novel Dielectric Antenna for Wireless Applications(2007) is used.It is being sticked to the lid of the kit to detect other PONDOKs.The antenna is being installed in other PONDOKs in order to send and receive signals from IBU.



There is a screen in the survival kit showing the locations of the PONDOKs.There is a solar panel at the upside of the screen,to provide energy for the screen to function.It can also provide electrical energy to IBU when the battery of IBU is insufficient.



This is the diagram showing how the survival kit provides electrical energy to IBU.By using a wire,connect pluck at both survival kit and IBU,then the kit can provide electrical energy for IBU.


The screen together with the solar panel,called as Board can be taken out.It functions just like a laptop,so it can be taken to anywhere.The battery of the Board is based on solar energy.



Things that are needed during the disaster is placed inside each segment.

Left segment :
Knock-Down Remotely Piloted Vehicle(KD-RPV)(2006) which can be dismantled into smaller parts is put inside.This airplane helps to do surveillance and reconnaissance in the catastrophic region,it helps people in IBU to know the situation around that cannot be seen from IBU.After the surveillance,IBU can move to places that thinks to be safe.

Right Front segment :
1. Claysorb : Novel Clay-Based Adsorbent for Wastewater Treatment(2004)
It is used for water treatment.During disaster period,the problem of water shortage may raise.Therefore,this claysorb can be used to treat the water at the surrounding so that the water is safe to be consumed.
2. Haruan Spray for Burn and Wound (2007)
It will form a layer of film after sprayed on the wound or burned skin and stops bleeding on skin.Since it is in the spray form,it can cover the wound of any sizes.
3. RUB-ADH -A Novel and Multipurpose Rubber Adhesive from Various Rubber Wastes(2005)
It can be applied to IBU when there is any structure damage.It can also be used to link with PONDOK when necessary.Just place the RUB-ADH at the place that IBU wish to link with PONDOK,when the PONDOK comes near then it will stick to IBU.It is easy to apply,has strong bonding strength,fast dry and high water resistance.

Right Back Segment :
Used to put food.Canned food can be put inside to help the people in the IBU to survive for 40 days and nights.
